"Overall, we had a good stay at the Grand Riviera Princess. The resort grounds are beautiful, well-maintained, and there are plenty of pools, activities, and dining options to keep you busy throughout your vacation. The food was surprisingly good for an all-inclusive resort, with most restaurants providing enjoyable meals and a good variety of options. However, La Hacienda was a major disappointment. Both the service and the food quality were well below the standard of the rest of the resort. The staff seemed inattentive, and the food was mediocre at best. One of the biggest frustrations was that the resort did not honor the Expedia Silver Status perk that advertised two complimentary spa treatments. We specifically chose this property in part because of that benefit, so it was disappointing to arrive and find that it would not be provided. The service throughout the resort was generally okay—not bad, but not particularly memorable either. Some staff members were friendly and helpful, while others seemed indifferent. Despite the issues, we still enjoyed our trip thanks to the beautiful property, great food at most venues, and overall atmosphere. If the Expedia benefits had been honored and La Hacienda had provided a better experience, this would have been a much higher-rated stay."

"Property was a little older but still kept up quite nicely. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food was very good at all the restaurants! The seaweed/ its smell made the beach unusable unfortunately but the resort was doing what they could to clean the beach. The pools were great so even without the beach you could still have a very enjoyable and relaxing time"

"The room was always clean, and they were there by mid morning most of the time. The staff was fabulous as they were very accommodating and friendly. We had a room upgrade when we got there as we had no idea! Our room was huge! The pool was also great. If you were there in the morning, beverage a problem finding a place to sit. Some rented the cabanas and it looked like the service was exquisite! I spent two hours at the spa and I can’t say enough good about it. Lucia was a fabulous massage therapist if you want deep tissue massage! I highly recommend her! The food was wonderful! We especially loved the shrimp cocktail at the restaurant called Pelicanos! A small hut close to the pool had wonderful Pome salads, pizza and sandwiches. You are two blocks from 5th Ave. an easy walk. I highly recommend the Hyat Vivid! We will return!"

"Everything is 5 star quality. Really liked the hotel, bar , activities food, coffee bar was my favorite. The staff was amazing. Great job. Family of 6 . ( kids grown up). They all enjoyed . Beach had those sargassum /seaweed, but they tried cleaning every day and the not take away from our experience."

"Secrets Maroma Beach was awesome. We stayed 6 nights....every meal was great, staff was great. Room was great. Seaweed is daily battle for the all the hotels in the area. SMB did a great job of keeping our beach clean. A lot of seaweed was pushed onto the beach one night during a storm. The next day was bad, but it was clean in 24 hours. Great all inclusive."

"It was nice clean and staff is very friendly is family friendly I like that! What I don’t like was that they give my husband and I a room with pass thru door and we can hear kids scrimping and crying at 5 am and 7 am in the morning ! It was like they were in our room! I make the complaint thru Expedia and they never get in touch with us to see what was happening"
