Nevada

What you need to know before you go

Nevada may be mostly desert, yet it’s packed with star attractions. The bright lights of Las Vegas are the obvious example, attracting millions of people each year with its seemingly unlimited options for gambling, shows, shopping and first-class dining. Reno offers much the same but on a smaller scale. Don’t forget to visit the state capital of Carson City, too.

Cities aren’t really your thing? No problem – the list of state and national parks in Nevada certainly won’t disappoint. Check out such famous sights as Death Valley, Lake Mead and even a bit of the Grand Canyon.
