Every May, Louisville hosts the Kentucky Derby – a 2-week racing spectacle that brings hordes of equestrian enthusiasts to Churchill Downs to watch thoroughbreds thunder down the track. Kentucky’s largest city has plenty more going on the rest of the year, however, with its farm-to-table fare, top-notch shopping, bourbon-perfumed nightlife, and historic neighbourhoods filled with handsome Victorian abodes.
One of the city’s star attractions is the aptly named Museum Row. A culture-crammed stretch in Louisville’s riverside Downtown, it features the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, the Frazier History Museum, and the Louisville Slugger Museum – a mecca for baseball fans.
