Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park was the first national park in the United States, and it continues to be one of the most popular, thanks to its array of breathtaking natural features. Visitors can explore numerous hiking paths among verdant green valleys and dense forests coupled with waterfalls and deep canyons. Rivers snake through the landscape as well, but that’s still only the beginning of what this national park has to offer.

Among the most iconic aspects of this park are the geothermal features. Geysers spray columns of water into the air in an incredible sight that shows off the powerful forces lying below the Earth’s crust. Old Faithful is the largest, but you’ll find quite a few within the park’s grounds. The Morning Glory Pool is another fascinating sight, as the pool sports an array of colours similar to the Morning Glory flower, including vivid hues of green, orange, blue and gold.
