The Atlantic City Corridor Project expanded Tanger Outlets in the early 2000s, adding a large Nike outlet and an array of additional stores. An expansion completed in 2011 added a Hanes outlet and a garage-style area dubbed the Wave. The Wave now includes the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University and the African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey.

The Noyes Arts Garage provides a look into art creation processes by showing individual artists working on their original pieces along with regularly rotating exhibitions, while the African American Heritage Museum preserves over 3,000 cultural artefacts, including significant pieces by local artists in New Jersey.
