Grant Park highlights

Several attractions are available within Grant Park, but Zoo Atlanta tends to stand out among all others. Here, you'll find a wide variety of animals to see from all over the world, including exotic bears, gorillas, and gibbons.

One of the most impressive aspects of this park is that it has its very own Wi-Fi network, which allows you to stay connected during your visit. This public network can support about 1,000 to 2,000 devices simultaneously connected, so it's easy to bring up a map for geocaching to or find your next destination.

Good to know when visiting Grant Park

Before you visit Grant Park, be sure to keep a few things in mind. Grant Park and Inman Park are among the last bastions of Victorian architecture in the city. While you're free to check it out from a distance, bear in mind that many of the Victorian homes are privately occupied, so make sure not to disturb the residents.

When you visit this park, you'll find yourself close to several other attractions. Just a short distance to the north towards Old Fourth Ward, you'll find Freedom Park. A few miles southeast, you can visit the Starlight Drive-In for a retro movie-going experience.
