First of all Orbitz it isn’t a trustful site when you look for hotels, because they did showed that this ''property'' was wonderful and we choose right? But it was a nightmare, cracked all over the place, its turn in a part, I felt completely unsafe over there because of that and the area is very dangerous, please trust me. If you thinking about going to a hotel in Cancun dont go here, it was one of the worst experience we never had. And yes, we took off less than one hour. The property and Orbitz didnt returned (refund) anything to us, even after I contacted Orbitz, but we safe, that’s all that matter. I woludnt trust on Orbitz advertising descriptions anymore.Im out.

So far it’s been a great stay. It’s 9pm and it’s quiet and safe around here. We only stayed one night. We like the small store that they have here. It’s very convenient and prices are reasonable. So no need to leave the complex for drinks beer water snacks. The restaurant had great seas food but all other food was ok. The prices was fair. We heading out tomorrow We will come back

I loved this hotel and wished I would have stayed here longer. It had newly been updated and was clean and comfortable. The pool was right next to the beach and the restaurant had yummy dinners and looked to use olive oil instead of the bad for you seed oils in some menu options. The only thing that was a bit confusing was that the Cancun Plaza and Best Beach Hotel have two separate check in areas. I wish they had some signage to make sure you are checking in at the correct location. They share a parking lot and the Best Beach check-in was in one of the hotel rooms which was not well marked.

Great place on beach for a good value.
This was a good hotel and a great price for on the beach. A/C worked great and no hot water issues. Didn't try their restaurant. Only complain was no in room coffee that would be included in most hotels. Instant was free at the small management office. The room had an A/C that blew hot air onto the balcony which was annoying, especially given the amazing ocean view room. Older facility, but kept up well. Closet was too small to use for an open suitcase, shelves and storage though.
