Eryri National Park

Snowdonia National Park is a picturesque region of natural beauty that’s home to towering mountains complemented by a network of trails for hiking and biking. Several peaks are set here, 14 of which are taller than 914 meters, but Snowdon towers above them all at an impressive 1,085 meters. Travelers can hike to these peaks, though easy hikes are also available that still offer stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty.

Travelers committed to summitting Snowdon don’t have to hike up the whole way if they don’t want to. Instead, they can take the Snowdon Mountain Railway. This convenient railway can get passengers to the peak of the mountain at the Hafod Eryri visitor center while offering spectacular views along the way. More adventurous travelers may want to get the adrenaline pumping with a bit of ziplining or paragliding. Rock climbing and whitewater rafting are popular in the park as well.
