"Google Maps had me trying to access the property from a side street which caused me 45 minutes of frustration between potholes and one way streets...i called the hotel to find the property is accessed via the main street and the signage is quite limited in size and position behind a cluster of palm trees, so you need to look hard to find it...friendly staff convenient location..."

I split my trip with a few days in town, and a few days on the beach and enjoyed my time in town more! It is so easy to get to the beach and extremely affordable to use the public beach or find a beach club that is less of a scene. "

The rainforest vibe and secluded pools and waterfalls were just the atmosphere we wanted, and the location away from the beach in a quiet neighborhood was as very appealing. We had a room with a garden and soaking tub that gave the place the feel of an expensive boutique hotel for a fraction of the cost. The breakfast included with our room was small but excellent, and we made good use of the bar's happy hour. Superb margaritas!"

"Absolutely loved my time at Moxy. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Rooms are nothing grand but for one person maybe two it’s perfect. You don’t spend much time in your room anyways. Patito is a cute hidden gem and they have decent food. Location is in the middle of hotel zone and centro. The best part of the stay was most definitely the staff!"

"This property was not only beautiful but extremely convenient for a location. Close enough to the beach and the city, a perfect medium. Bike to the ruins or into the city. Taxi to the beach and they are all easily accessible. The gym and rooftop are beautiful and peaceful. The private pool I had was so nice I can’t wait to come back. They even provide bikes for you to use it’s perfect. "

"Wow we were so satisfied with our stay at Ikal! We had the Maya suite and it was better than we expected (you had an entire yard for yourself!) and the whole feeling in the hotel area was really nice. The beach was also lovely and not crowded at all, very chill and nice vibe. Highly recommend! "
