So we booked this “ apartment “ for 4 people turned up and it a broken cupboard wonky mounted tv which needed turning off at plug every 5 minutes as sound would cut out and wiring to plug on tv were hanging out. The sofa bed was a futon only big enough for 1 person so we so 2 adults had to try squashing onto it and the double bed mattress was so lumpy was not conducive to getting any sleep. Dirty linen from previous tenants was left in hallway smelling awful in heat. The area was mostly boarded up and neighbours that there were , were drinking and shouting in street till gone midnight. In conclusion this is absolutely the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in

The place was dirty and unsafe please my Google review regarding this. The heating plug in bedroom was black and white lead join together. The TV plug bare ware showing.Vould close the living room windows. The washing machine handle broken.the cupboard for coffee and tea heag broken.the toilet in bathroom was loose and not balanced.the shower was dirty with animals on floor. The bathroom was dirty clean it same with bedroom mood on wall wipe down floors clean through by me. Wash bed sheets as felt dirty.sofa was broken all report to agent and said Thier get it fixed by maintenance team. The entrance hole floor dirty and dirty mope bucks etc. the agent lacks customer care and hags up on people. It's a shame as it's in a great location and could be a real nice stay.

Dirty mouldy smells. Full of wood lice .toilet not fixed to floor .furniture looks like found in a skip..All the houses are boarded up. We did not stay .paid for other accommodation. Not fit for humans. Insects and bugs everywhere The company called EMPIRE should not be advertising property which is so run down. They are a rouge company. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

One of the worst places I’ve ever stayed, booked for 5 nights and stayed for 1, only stayed the one night because of how late we got there. I had a 1 year old child with me and the plug for the tv had exposed wires, the toilet wasn’t even connected to the floor and leaking and the entire apartment was filthy. After many emails and Expedia trying to contact we had no look until Expedia gave us a £150 coupon to book somewhere else. Should be illegal and shut down!!!!

Great value for money. Infact you wouldnt find another whole apartment that sleeps 4 plus a kitchen that had all utensils to cater for you and your family. The bathroom has towels ect aswell as a dining area in blackpool for the price, and even bought our dog along. Easy self check-in and out. Weve even extended our 9 day stay for the rest of the weekend and the property manager has been amazing. Will deffo be coming back and would deffo recommend

Absolutely disgusted
Check-in was absolutely terrible. They made me wait outside for over an hour. What a joke. Communication is absolutely terrible. The apartments are rundown terrible. I wouldn’t rate these to anyone I would definitely not stop here again 100% and please whatever you do book elsewhere.

Avoid this hell hole!
The property is run down, smelt of bleach when we arrived and floors still wet. Hair everywhere, full bin in bathroom. A spoon being used as a door stop?! Hole in door to apartment filled with kitchen roll. Extension leads draped up walls. Dirty bed sheets, tiny sofabed. Carpet loose on stairs with grips visible. Noisy and smell of cannabis throughout. Called to complain and was told I’d get a call back. This never happened, also emailed numerous times with no reply. We were booked in for 3 nights, stuck it out for one as nowhere had availability then went elsewhere. Avoid at all costs!

2 night stay. Left the first morning. Shocking
promises things that are not available. No wifi. Just does not connect Tv only gets signal if signal box is out the window. Bathroom has no light/handle Bugs roaming the rooms Sofa bed is just a cheap sofa that is uncomfortable to sleep on. Heating hardly heats up. Bedding smells and moist Front door drags across the carpet. Nothing like the photos. Definitely not the ‘superior’ apartment that was paid for 2 night stay. Left the first morning. Shocking

Advertised as sleeps 4 property sofa bed is meant to be double pull out it was a leather effect fold down felt like sleeping on wood reported it but nothing bathroom sink leaking badly reported nothing tell me non refundable that only works of they fulfil there part of the contract which they didnt

Check in took ages (language barrier), appartment stunk of smoke, hard to open front door, no hot water,hole in bathroom floor,living room door handle hanging off with no screws,kitchen window handle broken off, no sheets for sofa bed, asked for sheets didnt get, sofa bed was like sleeping and metal bars its was more comfortable to sleep on the floor than the sofa bed, all dishes were dirty. Over all worst place i have stayed will never be returning

When we pulled up we wasnt expecting much as the photo online did show it wasnt the nicest frontage. The inside however showed such beautiful interior that once thebdoors shut it wouldnt bother us about the outside. What we wasnt ready for was a group of men outside smoking drugs. They were polite enough, but not what you want entering a holiday apartment woth 3 teenagers. Walking through the front door we all had to hold pur hands over our gaves, the smell was horrific. The carpet extremely worn and filthy. No one arpund to speak to about checking in so we had to go back to the car to call them. Finally after 15 minutes we had instructions to get the key. Once inside ,after fighting with the apartment door as it was so stiff we were quite surprised. Its looked quite nice. Then on inspection the bathroom is damp and has mould all over , i got locked in the bathroom as the handle had snapped off and was missing. The walls were actually wet. Then i checked the rest more carefully. Most of the walls have mould on them, all around the edges is very dirty. The cupboard woth a quilt for the sofa bed had bugs in so that quilt was useless. Then when we checked the sofa bed it was actually broken in the middle where someone has left a big dip in it. The smell of damp got worse over night and with groups drunk and drugged up men we didnt leave till morning. We checked out 2 nights early after spending just 1 very uncomfortable night.

Do NOT stay here! We arrived at the property and we were scared to get out the car. Most houses on the street were boarded up. Opened the front door, the carpet was thick with dirt and wallpaper hanging off. We get in to our room only to find the mattress hanging off the bed… dirty bedding still on there. Dirty towels all over the room, and the base of the bed was completely broken and was being propped up with cushions. They then moved us to another building 5 mins away in the car. When we got in to this one it was slightly better… then we went into the bedroom and the same again. Bed wasn’t made still had someone else’s filthy sheets on there. Then I opened the toilet and there was a full towel shoved down there! The bathroom is also covered in thick black mould…When trying to speak to empire I was told someone will be in contact within 24 hours.. I’ve been here for 2 nights and no one has called!! I’ve sent countless emails and still had no phone call… this place is absolutely disgusting!!

This property is nothing like the photos. We arrived and the street was dirty outside. At the side of the property there was rubbish bags all over the ground. The place smelt of drugs and we didn’t not feel safe at all. We ended up booking in at the premier in and did not stay at the property. We did enter the property and the sofa bed was all dented and would not have been comfy. The bed room windowsill was dirty and you could feel the dirt on the floor. After how unclean and unsafe we felt we decided to book elsewhere.

Toilet seat was broken, tv didn't work. The bed was very hard, springs coming through and broke on 1 side so we had to sleep on the futons. Corridor constantly smelt like someone was growing cannabis. A vile smell would start throughout the apartment in the afternoon. Tried to email the company but got no reply. Definitely wouldn't recommend 😕

The place itself was ok it smelt of damp really bad and the double bed was terrible sleeping on nails would of felt better i had 2 hours sleep coz the mattress was just hard springs in your back defo needs new mattresses and the sofa bed wasnt great just about fitted 2 kids on it but apart from that it was ok i suppose wouldnt book it again tho to be honest true what they say you pay for what you get!!!!

Don't stay here!
Where do I begin! For a start they won't give you any details about the accomodation until 15 minutes before you are due to stay. The exterior was completely littered with a huge refuse bin outside the building. The steps up the building were all broken and uneven. There were people on the steps outside the building drinking cans and smoking marijuana. The area felt completely derelict. The communal area smelt of stale alcohol and cigarettes. The flooring was not fitted properly, being a trip hazard. The TV, although showing it had Netflix did not work and it wouldn't show any other channels. This was due to the building not having any internet, as advertised, also the mobile data in the area was dire. The door had a hole in it, filled in with kitchen roll. The doors and painted surfaces were grubby and looked like they needed a deep clean and repainting. The flooring in the kitchen was peeling off the floor and the floor was uneven. There were not enough towels, bedding and pillows for the amount of people the accomodation was booked for (4). The windows were all broken and the glazing had broken down inside being filled with moisture. The exterior yard was a state with litter, weeds and looking disheveled. One of the lounge chairs had a huge staple sticking out of it making it difficult to handle. Both lounge chairs also doubled up as camp beds but neither were stable. Tiles were falling off in the bathroom. The toilet was not attached.
