Saint-Raphael is a resort town in southeastern France along the Côte d’Azur that’s famed for its beaches, rocky coves, landmark churches, gardens and family adventure. The secluded island of Ile d’Or features a medieval stone tower with panoramic views of the ocean around. Abbaye du Thoronet offers a museum and tours in a former Cistercian abbey. Fréjus Cathedral is a church filled with ornate paintings and carvings. The Saint-Raphael archaeological site is a free museum inside a medieval church. The famed Basilique Notre-Dame de la Victoire is an iconic sandstone church in the Romanesque and Byzantine architectural styles.

Children’s attractions here include Aqualand Fréjus, where you can swim, slide and ride the rapids. Bonaparte Garden offers parklands for the entire family to enjoy. Beaches can be found all along the coast and include Plage du Veillat, Plage de Camp Long, Plage de la Péguière and Plage du Pourrousset. Hiking and outdoor adventures can be found at Pic du Cap Roux and Pic de l’Ours.
