"The location was great!! Pther than that, the hotel was pretty average. The room was a good size and nice. The problem we experienced was a loud trash truck would come at 730 every morning and the TV has streaming options on it but there was no streaming was available. The only staff i dealt with wad Lolita on the phone and she was helpful. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Vinland so much we didn’t want to go home. We stayed in the Zaca Mesa suite and I almost don’t want to let people know how awesome it is so I can have it all to myself. It was more than enough space for our family of 4 and 1 dog. The Vinland is walking distance from everything. The pool and hot tub were heated, towels were readily available, and the outdoor seating was comfy. I love how the Vin Lounge overlooks the pool too. The cold brew in the lobby was yummy. There was so much storage in our suite and the Malin + Goetz products were wonderful. Our balcony was the perfect size for us to enjoy. Parking was plentiful and we loved how most of it was underground. We will definitely be back!"

"We loved our stay here! So relaxing with the center gardens with lots of seating and hammocks at every room. So pretty at night with lights and fire pits. We enjoyed playing bocce. Our room was great with a wet bar and fridge. Close to Solvang. Can’t wait to stay again!"

"It was an absolutely delightful stay. The room was extremely clean and everything was very cute. However, the highlight is the backyard area that they have. It's BEAUTIFUL. "

"I loved the decor. Cute and neat. I liked how they had makeup remover packets. But the towel that had them tucked in had someone’s hair in it. Not mine. I was the first to shower and notice little hairs on the restroom floor and the shower. Again not mine. The heater didn’t work and when I texted about this no one responded. I paid for a late check out at 1pm went about our day came back before 1 and the room code was changed. Although I did like the idea of self check in and out I did not like that I paid for the late check out and my door code was was changed. I hate that we were cold at night and the hairs belonging to someone else showed no deep cleaning. I loved the little patio and fire place and how close the the inn was to the main parts of Solvang. Would I stay here again, I would love to but it’s those little things that I felt neglected our ability to fully appreciate our experience. Also on our last night the upstairs guest stomped around till 2am, the rooms are small so I had no idea what they were doing going back and forth all night from one side of the room to the other. Non stop. "

"The layout of our room was nice for the two of us. There's a mini fridge with beverages, along with snacks, all available for purchase. Free water bottles. Free breakfast in breakfast area, gym on premises as well. The room has an extra blanket and pillow. The bed was comfortable enough, AC, and fan are in working condition. Outlets on both sides of the bed. Water pressure in the sink and shower are good. The towels feel nice and are made of a thicker material, didn't feel cheap. The restroom itself is on the smaller side. The garden on the premises is really nice. Many areas to sit and relax. Designated smoking areas. Walkable area around the hotel, walking distance to downtown, literally minutes away. One of the employees, I didn't catch his name, gave us fish food to feed the koi fish (Thank You!). Staff is friendly, quick, and helpful. Check-in and a Checkout was a breeze. Free parking but parking can be a hit or miss but still plenty of public parking lots right in the same space."
