We stayed 2 nights at the hotel, the hotel is very comfortable and we loved the breakfast, dessert at night, evening wine tasting and the best of all, steam shower and nice hot tub. I do have to mention one thing is that if you book with more than 2 people (include kids of all age) in a room with the # of people listed on the Expedia confirmation page and even with phone call to Expedia confirming the booking is for 3 or 4 people and the price is included , the hotel might still try to charged...
It was a wonderful first stay for my wife and I in Solvang and the folks at Wine Valley Inn made our stay very enjoyable. From check in to check out they were friendly and helpful. Their hot breakfast was enjoyable and so were the pastries from Olsens bakery. We will be returning here.
New Haven Inn is a quaint little hotel. We enjoyed our stay here. We were in room 10 which had 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch in the living area. We had 4 people and used all 3 beds available. The 2 bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were wonderful. The single pull out couch is rather small, but Im only 5 ft 2, so that worked! The bathroom was beautiful and was stocked with shampoo, conditioner and shower soap in a dispenser in the shower. There were plenty of towels available.

The staff service was superb, and the grounds, inboarticular the pool and outdoor patio were gorgeous. There were stains on the carpet in the inside of the hotel room, but other than that, the hotel room was nice. The room could have also used more firm pillows.
My husband and I loved this hotel. It is in a great location, right on the main street in Solvang. The room was really modern and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for dinner, which had really nice food and wine. Also, the complimentary continental breakfast is delicious. I would definitely stay here again!
This is the second time we have stayed within a year. We had a really great server for lunch at Norman's on 4/28. I forget her name, unfortunately. Will return again!
