"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. "Lovely studio, but 2 things to address:
1 - the shower is not powerful when the heat is turned up.
2- The bed is 2 singles joined together, it's on wheels, any movement and the bed just slides across the floor, maybe change the wheels to locking wheels, simple fix

I was told to leave the bike in the hall way and it was fine there.
Parking was tight with a bike rack on so i dropped it to get the car over as far as i could.

A short walk away is a wonderful cafe with fresh baked goods and a nice espresso.
The town centre is a short distance down the hill where there are a few pubs, shops and restaurants.
