"The room was very small but very nicely set out. The bed was very comfortable and everything you needed in the room for a lovely overnight stay. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t eat an evening meal but the bar area is really nice. Nice touch in your room were 2 vouchers for 2 half pints of Timothy Taylor’s beer. "

"Great stay with the most friendly courteous staff I have met in a hotel. Great warm welcome at reception and great service from the staff at dinner and breakfast. Room very clean and bed and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast very good with good choice. The hotel is old fashioned and has real character I would stay again and recommend "

The shower was powerful and hot. Enjoyed an ample breakfast with menu choice for the smaller appetite. Taxi to Haworth only cost £7.00"

Lovely room 1 Pen-y-gent the walk in shower i wish i could take home. Plenty of tea coffee in room and toiletries.
Had steak and ale pie with veg and chips. Big chunks of tender meat in luscious gravy, chips were home made and not the usual frozen ones! Meal was excellent.
Lovely fire in bar which was really welcoming on such a bad day
