We had a lovely 3 night stay at he Assheton Arms. The room was really comfortable, the bathroom was impressive and the views of the village and beyond were delightful (even from the bathroom!). The staff were extremely friendly and the food was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely quiet location, superb room in the cottage opposite the main pub. Food was lovely and catered for my gluten free requirements. We only stayed one night but would love to go back with our dog and check out the local walks for a weekend.
