"We had a lovely one night stay at the hotel. We made a good choice. Just minutes off the motorway and very easy to get to. Plenty of parking. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I can’t fault them at all. The bedroom was clean, well appointed and comfortable. I’d have liked an iron in the room if I was staying for more than one night. The food at dinner was delicious and breakfast is very good. All in all we had a fabulous stay and will intend to return, as well as recommending the hotel...

"The Homestead, a beautiful B&B with great character. Sits in Melling about 5 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The hosts Kevin snd Maria, couldn't do enough to make our stay as memorable as possible. Kevin dropped us and picked us up from one of the local pubs, that we had booked in for ouf evening meal. Whilst Maria cooked wonderful breakfasts. Definitely worth a visit, we are looking to book again."

"The property is in a poor state of repair but the bed was comfy, the shower was warm, the breakfast was nice and the lady was friendly. Kirkby Lonsdale was a nice town in a beautiful area and the Ingleton Waterfalls trail nearby was breathtaking."
