"We really enjoyed our time here! No stay is perfect, so it took a visit from the manager to get the heating working, but after that it was a cosy room and a welcoming hotel after a day's walking and sightseeing. The staff were all friendly and professional, and they were all happy to engage with the guests. Kirkby is a lovely little town, with a delightful river walk and some little alleyways and old houses. We had a room at tge front so woke each morning to views of the hills of the Dales...

"No parking on site but did manage to find on road space not to far away. Some parking on road is time limited. Reception experience differed depending on who was on duty. Breakfast was of a good standard. Linen in room was good quality and bed was comfortable. Building looking tired in places. Close to station. Nice canal walks near by with pubs just off the toe path."

"Stayed here on 29th May, whilst attending a friends wedding at Wennington Hall. I can honestly say the hospitality was second to none, breakfast was fantastic. Kevin kindly offered his services to pick us up from the venue, no matter how late we decided to stay out till and even run us back in the morning to collect our car when ready.
