The staff are absolutely amazing, the hotel manager Mr Sun is one in a million, talks and laughs with the guests, he will get you a coffee. My wife became ill and without hesitation Mr Sun transported us some 20km to hospital and waited with us until were being looked after..you will not be disappointed staying here with Mr Sun and his amazing team"

"A little bit hilly due to the location but buggies provided access to all of resort,even down to Karon beach.The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to cater for needs.Choice of 5 excellent good size swimming pools with a swim up bar in every one.Excellent breakfast choice for all nationalities.Highly recommended resort."

"Great location 3 mins drive in hills above karon. We had villa with pool but there is also a range of accommodation and a very nice pool by the restaurant. Staff are very nice and the place is very relaxing. There is a viewpoint bar which overlooks Karon and is great for a sundowner. We had a car and most other guests had scooters, you probably wouldn’t want to walk to and from town. Karon beach is probably the best we visited and Karon is definitely quieter and more laid back than kata and way...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Proud Karon. Rooms were spacious and clean. In close proximity to the beach and other restaurants, shops etc. We enjoyed the free shuttle that was offered to Kata Beach. It is also available to Patong and Old Town. The staff were so helpful, in particular Mr Phu who recommend an excellent tour to Phi Phi island!"

"This place is a little gem, we loved it. It does not feel busy and at times we were the only ones in the pool. We had a pool room with a view of the pool and bar. We often had lunch by the pool, it had plenty of choice and we enjoyed everything we had. We would definitely return. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk ( that’s at a really leisurely pace) and the security guard will stop the traffic to cross the road for you. The main town with all bars and restaurants are walkable. "

"The view balcony pool and the staff are excellent the property is really clean and kept clean whilst we were there It is a long walk from the beach and along a busy road but there are good shops around car hire just 40 metres away with an area to park This is a lovely property to stay and we recommend the owner Kai as a lovely host "
