Learn more about Sligo
Beneath the shadow of Knocknarea mountain, where Queen Maeve's ancient tomb crowns the summit, a town of literary ghosts and lively pubs awaits. Follow in Yeats' footsteps along the riverfront, where his bronze likeness contemplates the waters that inspired his most haunting verses. The Model and Sligo County Museum showcase local artistic heritage, while O'Connell Street's pubs overflow with traditional music sessions that start spontaneously and end reluctantly. Kayak on shell-strewn Lough Gill to discover the 'Lake Isle of Innisfree' that captivated the poet's imagination. After dark, Hawks Well Theatre offers contemporary performances in a town where creativity flows as steadily as the Atlantic tides. Order a pint and ask locals about their favorite Yeats poem – everyone has one.

Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo
"Nice room. Good restaurant."
The Glasshouse
"Good location with a balcony room onto the river. Clean, comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant and bar but also close to alternatives."
The Address Sligo
"Very nice hotel in Sligo. Convenient to local shops and restaurants. Has a small off street parking lot but I parked in an outdoor pay lot for about $8 euros for 24 hours. Free on Sundays. Restaurant food was very good. Nice breakfast options for a fee. My second stay here in two years. Would recommend to fellow travelers. I would book again when visiting Sligo."
SALA Lakeside Aparthotel
"great place for a holiday. The hosts were exceptional' the apartments are really well maintained. only a five minute drive from Sligo centre. The most amazing walk down by the lough' definitely reccomend this to everyone. Its not hotel quality, its more like home from home. Its not hotel prices either' We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be going back"

"Good location, was rather loud until 2 am, talking in corridor, slamming doors so not sure if that is the norm or not. Only there 1 night."
