Travelers who enjoy the great outdoors might want to go to Bruno Weber Park, located 1.1 mi (1.8 km) from central Spreitenbach.
Our travelers also like this walkable area for its restaurants. If you like Bruno Weber Park, you'll love Lake Katzensee and Old Botanical Garden, both just a short drive away.
You might want to get your camera out and head to Lenzburg Castle— just one of the landmarks located 0.7 mi (1.1 km) from central Lenzburg. If you want to experience more of the culture Lenzburg has to offer, head to Wildegg Castle, Hallwyl Castle, and Strohmuseum Im Park.
"Overall, this hotel was pleasant for a short 1–2 night stay and is a good option if you’re primarily looking for a place to sleep while exploring the area. The location and basic accommodations served their purpose, but there were several aspects of the room that made the stay less comfortable than expected.
The biggest drawback was the lack of air conditioning. During warmer weather, the room became quite uncomfortable, especially at night. The room itself was also much smaller than anticipated based on the photos and description. We stayed in a room with bunk beds, which were acceptable, but the overall layout felt very cramped.
One design issue worth noting is that the toilet and shower are separated, but the shower area is not adequately ventilated. Every time someone showered, the steam drifted directly into the bedroom area, making the room feel hot, humid, and stuffy. This significantly impacted the comfort of the space, particularly when multiple people were sharing the room.
I would not recommend this room configuration for three adults, and honestly, it would be a tight fit even for two adults with luggage. If you’re traveling light and only need a place to stay for a night or two, it may work well enough. However, for a longer stay or for travelers looking for comfort and space, you may want to consider other options."
"We had a great stay at the Radisson Blu Zurich Airport. The best part was how convenient it was for our departure flight. We were able to leave the hotel and go directly into the airport terminal for check-in without even having to go outside, which made traveling with family and luggage so much easier.
The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of fresh and tasty options to choose from. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel, especially for anyone flying out of Zurich Airport."
"Hotel Allegra was a wonderful place to stay for our one night in Zurich to fly back home after a trip to Switzerland, France, and Germany. The family rooms were huge and able to accomidate our 5. The rooms were clean and the water was hot and plentyful. The proximity to the airport was great (5 min). Sadly the tram was closed, but the uber was quick. The price was the only thing reasonable in Switzerland! I would recommend this hotel to any families headed to the airport. Thank you, Allegra!"
"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and felt it was worth the price because of its great location and beautiful atmosphere. However, the air conditioning was disappointing. I’m usually someone who gets cold easily, but I was uncomfortable and hot every night, which made it difficult to sleep.
Another downside was that guests had to pay an additional fee to use the gym next door. We also paid extra for breakfast, only to find out that many people got to eat without paying. A guest told us themselves they hadn’t paid. Good for them, but it was frustrating knowing we had paid for something others were getting for free.
On a positive note, I contacted the hotel in advance to arrange chocolate and flowers in our room for my husband’s birthday, and they did a wonderful job making it happen. He truly appreciated the surprise, which made our stay even more special."
"Nice hotel a little bit outside of central Zurich. Staff, including Seki, were top notch. Cool vibe overall with a lounge that made some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. It’s an easy trip to and fr
The airport via train/tram. Just take the train from the airport to the main station, walk about three minutes to the 13 tram and then you’re basically there —28 minutes from the airport for 7 francs —$9 usd. Would stay again."
