"We loved this place! It was clean, simple and really perfect for a stay in Lucerne. Breakfast was great and dinner option (extra) was really good! Common areas were excellent and comfortable. Was not too crowded in early October. We had a private room with private bathroom and the beds/pillows were amazing. Probably some of the best beds we had on a 2-week European trip. The room did not have a/c so in the summer, that might not be comfortable. We had a table lamp in our room but no outlets except by the door. Hotel did our laundry for us (10 CHF for one large wash/dry load) and that was an unexpected surprise! Highly recommend."

"I chose this hotel because it had a restaurant with a garden that backs onto the river. Unfortunately, the night we stayed (Friday) it was closed. There didn’t seem to be that many options nearby. Our room was on the 2nd floor with no lift. The room was comfortable enough but very basic. The breakfast was an extra 10€ per person so I would not rate this hotel value for money. It did us for an overnight stop but I probably wouldn’t stay again."
