We stayed outside the walls the first couple of nights and then stayed within the walls. It's quite special to wander around in the evening, not worry about traffic, and return to this property. The best part of our stay is Edita and Ivan. They are welcoming, courteous, helpful and provide the small touches that make Split so wonderful."

"Place is very clean, excellent communication with owner/manager prior to arrival and is right in the Old Town making every main attraction within a 5 minute walk. No lift, only stairs - just mentioning this for those that may struggle with this but otherwise solid option in Split Old Town. "

The air conditioning worked great, and it was cool to stay in such an old building. We loved that we were right in the centre of the old palace and it really felt like living in Split for a few days.
