If you want to see a show while you're in town, try and grab some tickets at Timisoara Opera House in Old City. If you want to experience more of the culture Timisoara has to offer, head to Victory Square, Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, and Piata Uniri.
This apartment is great, right in historic downtown in Union Square, the best place in Timisoara. Beautifully renovated and super secure (3 keypad entries) made our self check-in a breeze after midnight. The area is very secure to walk at any time of day and during the night, full of restaurants, bars, bakeries, shops and beautiful, colorful buildings. The host was very nice and responded really fast to any questions or requests. The apartment looks like in the listing photos. Very cute kitchen...
This is definitely one of the more expensive hotels in the city, but it's a good value compared with similar hotels in countries on the Euro. The location of the hotel really couldn't be any better, right in amazing Piața Victoriei (which was hosting an Easter market during my visit). And it's a short walk to most of the beautiful squares, buildings, and parks that you may want to visit. Perfectly central.

Pros: The space, location and vibe is great. Having the punch code for door locks and access is convenient.
Cons: The online checkin did not go that well for us and the checkout was at 11am instead of 12pm as noted on website. They do respond quickly to calls and emails but it was a hassle and stress that I could’ve avoided.
My wife and I were visiting Timisoara to visit our daughter at the university. This was an ideal place to meet up for breakfast and plan our day. The staff were extra helpful in every regard. We parked our rental car much of the time and simply walked to the river walk & old city areas. The room was comfy & quite new. We will come visit again and look forward to this jewel of a hotel.
