It was like Fawlty Tower. Terribly dated property. Breakfast was fine though.

Great one night stay after a hike with a friend. Room was spacious and clean, breakfast was nice. Building could probably do with an upgrade but it’s good value for money. Will definitely stay here again when in the area

Great location with plenty of parking. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was extremely tasty and there was plenty of choice. Didn't use the off-site health club so can't comment on that. Would definitely look to use this hotel again in the future

Stayed there for two nights and it was a pleasant experience. The location is ideal, and the hotel is well-maintained. The guestroom was decent and cozy, a bit stuffy though, since it was very hot on those two days. Love the decor of the dining room where breakfast was served. Enjoyed the time having a nice English breakfast there. Thanks to the staff who are very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again when visiting Windermere next time.

6/10 Bueno

Was fine, clean and a place to sleep, bed was very uncomfortable it was a spring mattress which had been used a lot so had dips all over i did sleep in the end just not the usual b&b ahh comfortable bed feeling which is a shame, breakfast I would avoid paying extra for a hot breakfast as it wasn’t the best it was on the smaller side 1 egg 1 bacon 2 sausages beans and tomato’s you could also make your own toast, you’d be better going to a cafe elsewhere but the cold breakfast was great with lots of variety etc and the guy was lovely who took your order. I’d stay again if I couldn’t find anywhere else but it wouldn’t be my first choice

Clean and well equipped room. Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts. Loads of parking spaces. Very short walk from Windermere. Would recommend this hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. They even brought our dog some sausage to enjoy! We stayed in a four poster bedroom which was a little tired and our curtains didn't completely close. Occasional weak WiFi signal. A good location for exploring Windermere and easy to use car park. It's a four star hotel but the service was five star.

Functional room, very clean but just some signs of wear and tear. Tv and plenty of tea bags provided. Bathroom and towels clean and toiletries provided. Hot breakfast excellent and staff helpful at check in. Could hear guests in other rooms but quiet through the night for sleeping. Parking and 20 min walk down to lakeside, hill back but manageable. Leisure facilities apparently 20 minute drive

2/10 Mediocre

Avoid staying here! I arrived with a badly sprained ankle - not looked after at all well. Left to carry my bags to my room. TV in the room wasn't working - not ideal when there is not reception open 24 hours. Bed was very creaky. Breakfast - service was slow - poached eggs were poach for about 20 minutes at a guest. Overpriced.
