Super welcoming and friendly… Central, cosy and comfortable hotel. Great access to walking or public transport just outside. Beautiful home cooked breakfast. Ian was just wonderful and could not do enough for his guests stay. Highly recommend. Thank you Vanessa & Stephen (Australia)

On first seeing the romantic room we did think it was small but the balcony made up for that. They have made the most of the space, not much wardrobe space for long items but there are plenty of hooks up in room and bathroom so hung dresses on there so wasn't a problem. Breakfast was lovely freshly cooked to order and Ian was very friendly and pleasant. Idealy placed for 10 mins walk into Bowness or Windermere. We had a pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

My second visit to Glencree was just as wonderful as the first. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. Our host really made us feel welcome and looked after us brilliantly. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to!
