Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS), or the Queen Sofía National Museum Art Centre, is the Spanish national museum of 20th-century art. It was inaugurated in September 1990 in honour of Queen Sofía and is located at the southern end of Madrid's Golden Triangle of Art. The museum showcases art from throughout the 20th century, from the turn of the century through the new millennium.

MNCARS is mostly dedicated to showcasing and promoting Spanish art, though it does maintain a sizeable collection of international works as well. For art enthusiasts, it's one of Spain's premier destinations.
