"We had stayed at a different hotel the night before (when this location was sold out) and it was less than ideal. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on the Marriott property and took away so much stress from what had been a pretty hectic arrival into Shreveport. Mercedes at the front desk was absolutely amazing in helping get our room prepared and secured early for us, answer questions and making sure we had everything we needed. It was clean, the amenities were great, the beds were comfortable. There was work going on at the location but it was quiet at night and you could tell they were taking the needed measures to fix and maintain items not in working order. This will always be where we stay from here out coming to Shreveport. The staff at the Marriott went above and beyond, my kids have talked about how kind and welcoming they were all week."

"Location is clean, accommodating and very friendly staff. The staff in the breakfast area were very attentive and genuinely nice. Very good breakfast. Check in and check out was fast and staff was friendly."

"The room had a bad smell to it. The bed, sheets and pillows had a dirty old smell to them as if they weren’t clean. Had everything changed and it still had the smell. AC worked really well. Poor lighting in the room. The food options weren’t to good either. This was my second time staying at this casino and it will definitely be my last. BUT if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay with entertainment and gambling - price wise it’s good compared to the local hotel and motels in the area. "

"The check-in staff was very kind, everything else was disappointing. All towels had holes in them, the furniture was mixed matched. All the "fixed" places on the walls wete very obvious. Definitely needs to be updated."
