"Quaint, clean, comfortable lodge. Attention to detail and comfort was exceptional. The breakfast was varied and excellent. The town was interesting, pretty, walkable, with lots to do. Good transit options. Host was efficient. Shower on room was awesome."

"Room spacious and comfortable with extras like tea/coffee/water well stocked. Bath was nice to have but also a powerful shower. Food is good although service stops a little early - especially on Sunday. Breakfast very good - all cooked to order."

"Lovely warm welcome, showed to room & made us a welcome pot of tea. Room had everything you need for a confortable stay. Breakfast was lovely with a variety of choice. The owner was a lovely lady & chatted to everyone when she could."

"We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room. It was a building near the pub. Parking was free and able to park outside the pub.
Its all situated in a square,like a market square surrounded by big granite hills.
We were shown to our room, was given a birthday card from the hotel chap which was a nice touch.
The room was surfice and had ensuite.

"I had a lovely few days here, the hotel is in the most stunning location. The room was spotlessly clean, and had all I needed. The owner of the hotel was lovely and very friendly and accommodating e.g. to an early checkout. I ate there one evening and the food was excellent. Breakfast is also very good!"

"Ideally situated for walkers. The hotel is 1 min walk from the enterance to the National Park. The room was immaculate. Plenty of hot water and the shower pressure was very good. Some jets flew over its car park during our stay as it is on the Mach Loop. That was an unexpected treat. The owner is very attentive and both evening meal and packed lunch was really nice. "
