"Its a 1800 mansion work in progress, our room had a lovely bathroom and bedroom with period furniture, and a comfy bed. great entrance hall and lots to see has you walk in the open areas, breakfast in the music room was very good, Stay before the prices rocket. "We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."
