Great lil hotel in the heart of it all. It is VERY clean, the staff is very friendly and the location can not be beat. Our room only had a shower and not a tub, not sure if the others do or not. It was perfect for the traveler who wants a great place but will be exploring most of the day. I will stay there again.

This is a really special place. It’s probably the only 3star hotel with its own pier so if you like swimming in the lake or take a boat it’s perfect. It’s very peaceful and charming and quirky at the same time because it retains the original old design yet spruced up enough to feel comfortable like a hotel. Very very special cosy design. What a great hotel! It felt very luxurious and was quite relaxing just off the lake but with some breathtaking views. Very walkable to the center of Evian and nearby ferry to Lausanne, which made a great day trip. The staff was very professional and helpful. The pool was magnificent. We look forward to staying here again one day.
One of the few hotels where the owner is also the operator instead of a corporate staff. This is what makes this hotel so special. These people care about what their guests think and want because they are the directly involved. This is the real difference between corporate and personal owner/operator type operations. Also, we spent an extra day there just walking around the little town as they are right in the middle - great location.
One of the only hotels I have visited wher everything is top notch. Very traditional and courteous staff. Excellent food. Produce is local sourced from their own garden. I would visit this place anytime. Very nice town.
Overall, this place was fantastic. The hotel did not disappoint. Only complaint is we were in the area during the “off season”, and all the surrounding businesses were essentially closed. But the breakfast alone at this hotel is reason enough to go back if I ever find myself in Switzerland again.
Stayed overnight in this quaint hotel and loved it! Was within walking distance to Castle Chillon. Was given discounts to the castle, excursion to Rochers de Naye and bus/train. Breakfast provided in the morning. Would stay again!
Definitely opt for a lake view room, it will not disappoint. We stayed for three nights in early September and would 100% recommend. Fantastic balcony, great bathroom and very quite and dark.
The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train, up/down hill, which was fine by us but worth taking into account.
I'd recommend checking out domain bovy for a great wine tasting. There are only a few restaurants in Chexbres and they hold basic hours, but that's some of the charm of this small town.
Hotel and service was excellent. Stayed for two nights and had a noisy party in the room in the late evening next to us the first night. When we reported the incident to the hotel, they took care of it and was very apologetic and responsive in following up with us.Overall, a very nice stay
