My only criticism is that the comforters are tucked into the foot of the bed so that they won't reach the pillows. Please leave the comforters untucked!
I would like to have a microwave in all of the rooms.
Room was large, clean and fresh and new carpeting. Even had a nice sized table with chairs that were convenient for eating a bite or playing a game together. Breakfast was excellent even including hot eggs and sausage! Oh, there was even a non-slip mat in the bathtub with was very reassuring for this person still healing from a knee replacement.
The room was clean and well maintained. Amenities in the room were great. Parking was plentiful and the hotel is in a good location to everything. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the indoor pool was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay.
Enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The morning view of the lake was great to wake up to. Surprisingly peaceful and quiet. We will stay agin when in the area
In general the property was pretty well taken care of. Conveniently located, away from the overcrowded Helen area. The room was spotless, pet friendly. We were very happy with the room.
The host of the Sautee Inn are very warm and welcoming.
The breakfast was outstanding as well as the late night dessert. Nearby we ate at Mully’s which also was also excellent. Great place to stay when visiting Helen GA.
Property was going through a renovation at time but still had breakfast service - room was a little outdated but the view was really nice and it did have a balcony
Easily the best weekend retreat we have ever had. With a friendly, courteous staff, top notch amenities, and breathtaking views from every direction, it’s hard to go wrong at Brasstown Valley Resort.

My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake.
The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them.
Great location and definitely will stay again. Walking distance to just about everything. No elevator but the stairs weren’t too bad. We were on the 3rd floor over looking the little river with a balcony! Just remember to get/bring towels to the pool they don’t have any there. Parking was great also, we have a truck and sometimes parking is a problem.
Very friendly staff. Only stayed one night. No issues. Treadmill in gym worked great. Think I ran about a bajillion miles at a gazillion miles per hour. Breakfast was OK. Stuck to fresh waffles and boiled eggs. Would have rather ate in town. Main part of Helen is walking distance, about .5 miles.
Excellent location, safe and quiet. Dog friendly with a dog park right next to the river. On the pricey side for bringing your dog as they charge per day and not a one time charge. Everything in Helen is easy walking distance for shopping and dinning.
Our stay was very pleasant. We checked in around 12:00 am and it went very smoothly. They were doing some construction at the hotel but it didnt affect our stay. Im not sure of the owner or managers name but her and her staf were very nice and sweet. I would highly recommend this hotel
