"Stayed in one of the renovated rooms with a balcony. The room was very comfortable, clean, and attractive. It looked like the pictures online. The balcony was less desirable. The door was not a great sound barrier and did not match the aesthetic of the room. The furniture was basic. They are going under heavy construction at the moment, hence the amazing price I paid for it. I could hear the majority of the noise through the door. My view was of the pool and facing the majority of the resort so the noise was a little loud but I wasn’t in the room much anyway. Overall I’m happy with my stay considering I paid a very reasonable price for it. The bell man was so sweet and quick. I’m glad I used him to help me with my luggage. Oh! And even though they are doing construction in the casino, the oyster bar is open! My fav spot to eat when I’m in south tahoe."

"We had a great time here. You can’t beat the location, the lobby is really nice with water on tap and coffee. We used the pool and hot tub, and you can check out towels at the front desk. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable, but we didn’t use the pillows because they were very very fluffy and hurt your neck."

"The staff here was extremely unfriendly and unaccommodating. My family and I reserved a two-night stay, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, we were under the impression that the property offered private beach access. What we were not informed of was that access required an additional $5 fee per person. We also found some amenities to be misleadingly advertised. For example, there was a grill on the property, but when we asked about using it, we were told it would result in a violation and a $100 fine. Throughout our stay, the front desk seemed far more focused on finding ways to charge guests than providing good customer service. We were repeatedly warned about fees for things such as entering the property incorrectly, losing a towel, or violating property rules. It felt like staff took more interest in explaining penalties than helping guests. When we raised our concerns, we were told our complaints would be "written up." The following day, a guest in our group asked about using the barbecue area and was immediately threatened with a violation instead of receiving a clear explanation. Another major concern was safety. During our stay, my family and I witnessed two bears roaming around the property near guest buildings and parked vehicles. To make matters worse, the manager was difficult to communicate with and seemed more interested in threatening to call the police than addressing concerns professionally."
