"The property is well maintained and conveniently located just a short walk from the Musanze bus terminal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The food prepared by the guest house cook was excellent! Our only concern was the lack of hot water in the shower, but that may have been due to the fact that we didn't know to plug in the water heater."

"We were lucky enough to stay in Volcanoes Over View during our gorilla trekking visit. We were kindly met by Oliver and his team, and he made the experience 10/10, going above and beyond to make our visit as comfortable as possible. We were kindly upgraded to the tents. He was able to source gaiters and gloves for our treks at short notice. He provided delicious spicy tea in the evening and was patient enough to teach us the game of Igosoro. "Great Stay, quite tranquil"

"This is a delightful small hotel in Kinigi, close to the Gorilla Experience headquarters. The rooms are in spacious huts with a fire and hot water bottles provided at night as it gets quite cold. The staff are extremely polite and helpful, lighting fires in the lounge and dining room at sunset and with little portable fires for each table. The setting is rustic and charming with 4 star facilities and don’t forget the wonderful complimentary foot massage and shoe cleaning after the gorilla trek....

"Beautiful hotel well located for hikes in the area. We stayed in the large cottage which is a very nice spacious option for families. Staff was very kind and accommodating (always went the extra mile) and as others have noted the food was really excellent. Light and healthy and tasted very fresh—the best food we had in Rwanda. "

"I had a great time at Virunga Homestay, I initially only booked for a few nights but then stayed over a week. Francis is a very considerate, helpful, and accommodating host.
