This boutique hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are very welcoming, beautifully decorated, nice sitting at work area, great bed and wonderful shower. The outdoor sitting areas are wonderful.. it’s like being in your own oasis. breakfast was delightful thank you Jennis and Aastha and staff for a marvelous 5 day stay.

One of the best hotels that my family and I have stayed in. We have used a lot of different hotels throughout the world and Shangri La Colombo ranks one of the best we have stayed in. Even with all the difficulties SL is in now, the hotel staff saw to our comfort without any complaints. I salute the staff and management for their gracious hospitality. Thank you!

Location attached to Colombo City Centre mall for a range of shopping options. Tuk Tuk and taxis easily accessible.

The staff was courteous and friendly. The restaurant manager was very helpful with his recommendations. The reception staff was friendly and professional.

Friendly staff ... good location ... does not surprise me that this hotel has hosted kings and queens during the last 150 years. I got good service from Shayna at the restaurant there ... nice breakfast buffet.

We were disappointed that we were unable to stay more than one night! My partner and I misread our flight schedule and had to leave a night earlier than anticipated. The Cinnamon Red staff were wonderful and we were given a beautiful room fir our final night in Colombo. We paid extra for late check-out and it was worth it! We will definitely stay again if we're lucky enough to visit Sri Lanka again. Thank you

A wonderful room with double beds, double AC and double fans. Tiles on floor so no warm when you left your room and came back. A balcony with view on the sunrise. Room is clean and well prepared on time. In the room there are wardrobe, desk and a small table with 4 chairs. Staff is very nice and polite. We had arranged to stay at this hotel for only two nights at the end of a week long tour around Sri Lanka. However due to checking out of another hotel in the Galle area as it did not match our expectations we arranged an additional night which was no issue for them. The hotel puts up a cultural show that is amazing. It is close to everything and there is a lot going on around the hotel to keep you occupied. The staff goes out of their way to make sure your experience is great.

It started with a bad surprise, for which I would blame Hotels.com as they showed pictures of the Mahoora tents, but booked us in the Big Game tent… a lower standard. Once that issue was cleared, we truely enjoyed our stay… the Mahoora tent is amazing, in a stunning environment. Service is great, candle dinner is amazing… and the safari organization was perfect.

Reading some of the reviews before I stayed at this hotel made me wonder if I was going to have a pleasant experience; I'm so glad to report that I could not be happier of my decision of staying here; personnel is kind, and naturally caring, I felt like they were looking after me at all times and that's rare in a lot of resorts. Kudos to personnel. Beach and good at this hotel are definitely remarkable and worth going back. See you next year! Thank you Tangerine Beach resort!
