The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The buffet was incredible. Our room was amazing and it really felt like we were in a jungle with a tree in the bathroom. Everyone genuinely wanted us to feel welcomed.

An amazing place in the middle of the jungle. Monkeys. Lizards? Butterflies all around this resort. Amazing staff. Amazing spa both Rajitha and Erandi treated me and my girlfriend with a 90 minute massage. The massage is very relaxing not like a Thai, Swedish or sports massage. The food is varied and good. Loved the breakfast because of the omelette station. Had dinner there one evening and the options were amazing. Local food is really good I would advise anyone to try local before sticking to their home country food like spaghetti. Perfectly located to visit the Rocks for the hikes. Perfectly located to visit the elephants and wildlife in Minneriya Park. We visited in August. Often find Geckos in your room which is fine as your in a jungle, if you don’t like nature then not sure what to tell you. The showers were very nice. Didn’t go in the pool but the monkeys did 😂 Great resort would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Sirigiya.

Friendly and very service minded hotel. Top facilities and especially the pool and the restaurant are worth a stay. Rarely have we received such good service, which also goes to the reception and housekeeper. They all made a virtue out of a pleasant stay for us! We will definitely come again!

It was a strange vibe. The staff were all so lovely, but the person in charge at reception felt like she made everyone bothered. Reception was always chaotic. Even trying to pay our bill was a major carryon with about 3 or 4 people involved. Dining staff were wonderful, dinner was not, though breakfast buffet was very good. Room was tiny and dark, bed very comfy. Bathroom felt bigger than room! Pool was ok, very shallow & not at all like the photos vibe. and pool area terrace etc was unfinished. Location was middle of nowhere & a 15 min drive to other food options.

As the hotel name suggests the property is located away from the city's hustle and bustle :) you are immersed in nature and its beautiful surroundings. The staff were welcoming and our check in was quick and smooth. Rooms are spacious with all the necessary amenities. There was enough water pressure from the shower head regardless of the negative comments some guests experienced. Food at the restaurant was deeeeelicious and plenty of varieties from Sri Lankan to international cusines my kids enjoyed their dinner and breakfast (ages 4, 8 and 13) Pool was clean and inviting. Now to the spa i cannot thank Andhira enough she was amazing. I highly recommend guests to stay at Sigiriya Jungles if you are looking for peace and quiet in the middle of nature.

Not at all a 4 or 5 star hotel.

This hotel is a 3 star at best. Service was slow and the rooms tired and shabby. I found frogs in and around the toilet bowl as well as cockroaches and HUGE bugs in the bathroom. On the positive side I suppose the pool was nice and the open air restaurant had a safari kind of charm if you like dinning in the heat with the flies. Sorry but for me as a five star hotel this is a big fail!

Good but could’ve been excellent

A little bit of frustration as it could be a gem, but the attention to details in the room make it average. Service was excellent, food was superb and properly priced, rooms were big and well designed, the flaw lies in the attention to details. Mosquito marks on the walls, cracks not plastered, gaps in doors that allowed bugs and animals (geckos and frogs) to come inside, mosquito net in shower room with wide gaps…I would be expecting this not to happen in a 4 star hotel

Mysig utemiljö

Själva miljön är väldigt mysig. Rummet uppfyllde inte våra förväntningar. Högljudd AC. Fläkten fungerade ej. Kylskåpet gick inte att öppna. Ofräsch odör i rummet. Grodor och ödlor i badrum. Frukost ok, mycket god omelett och även kaffet. Kvällsmaten var också god, åt ala carte. Plus för golfbilarna för att slippa dra väskor i grusgångar.

Poor experience overall

The room wasn’t ready for 2pm check in despite the hotel contacting us 4hrs beforehand via WhatsApp. Payment was taken once we landed in the airport before we had even arrived at the property. Service was slow and the room was still dirty including the bathroom. There were 2 dead frogs in the room, which we flagged on day one. Upon returning after being out all day the room was not cleaned. We mentioned this as reception and went to the bar for 2hrs. After which it still had not been cleaned. Overall the experience was not great.

Only one major issue. The first night of my stay the hotel moved housekeeping staff into the room above me late at night. The banging and the noise was ridiculous and when I went to the front desk at around 11:00 p.m. there was nobody there, no night staff. Hotel shouldn't be putting staff in the same quarters as paying customers.

Beautiful jungle setting with a lovely pool area. Good food. Small gym but nice. Spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Bathroom was nice but only had screen doors to the outside which made it quite hot.

部屋は比較的きれいで、浴槽もあり快適でした。ただ、シギリヤロックに朝一番に出発して登ろうと計画していましたが、朝食が７：００からということで計画通りにはいきませんでした。 部屋の電気蚊取器は点いているのかいないのかわからないもので、結局部屋の中に入ってきた蚊に少々悩まされました。 ホテル内敷地は想像していたよりも狭く感じました。 総合的には快適に過ごすことができました。

Inoubliable séjour

Nôtre 2ème séjour dans cet hôtel : magnifique, très bien situé, au calme, une piscine de rêve. Le personnel est exceptionnel, toujours à nos cotés et se met en 4 pour nous rendre service. Nous recommandons très vivement cet établissement qui offrira un sejour inoubliable. Nous sommes partis le coeur serré...!
