We just spent a wonderful 5 nights at the Oberoi and loved every second. The rooms are large and luxurious with a private terrace and an especially nice bathtub big enough for 2. The water sports are gratis including a snorkel boat 3x a day that goes out to just past the reef very closeby. The snorkeling right off the beach is also nice and full of fish. We originally booked at another hotel and stuck it out for two days until enough was enough. Constance Prince Maurice was a breath of fresh air and just the kind of pampering vacation we were hoping for when we booked a trip to Mauritius. It's too much to write about, if you're going to the island don't look at another hotel just book this one.

My wife and I travel frequently and have been fortunate enough to visit multiple islands in Hawaii, the Caribbean as well as enjoy fine hotels all Europe and the US. Until now I have never been impressed or moved enough to even take the time to write a review. The staff at SALT of Palmar is undoubtedly the greatest we have ever encountered.

The service at this resort is impeccable. Every aspect is luxury from the rooftop pool to the beautiful beach. There is an abundance of loungers and while some people put out towels at sunrise, it was unnecessary as we never had a problem finding a longer at any time of day. This might not be the resort for you if you have children that would like to be entertained but as a couple enjoying a romantic getaway this was exactly what we were looking for. I booked a weekend there for my birthday while I was visiting Mauritius from the US. The staff was fantastic and welcomed us with all the bells and whistles. The amenities were great, the food was fantastic. Many of the amenities are free such as the spa and water activities.

The staff is amazing and the service really makes this a 5 star property.

This is the most idyllically suituated hotel on the North East coast of Mauritius and boasts a proud heritage in its many years of existence. Many of the guests are repeat visitors some as many as over the past 30 years and all are pleased to be here. A fantastic hotel. Well maintained, excellent food and service. Just wish that I could book full board through Expedia as it worked out pretty expensive to pay for lunch at hotel each day.

EXCELLENT! Highly recommended. It takes a bit of work to reach the island from the airport, but you will not be disappointed. The staff attends to your every need.

Excellent experience with so many amenities included in the all-in package. We even enjoyed massages as part of the deal (nice surprise). Food was excellent with several choices and access to another resort next door. Be sure to visit Joe and the Coco Shack - he is awesome.

Set under the backdrop of the Le Morne mountain, this resort is the epitome of paradise. The staff, the beach, westward facing for the most incredible Indian Ocean sunsets, the facilities, all are top notch, everything designed for your relaxation and pleasure. 5 star service at every turn. 5 star cuisine, and one of the most picturesque locations in the southwest of Mauritius. thank you to all who made our 10,000 mile trip from New York one to remember.

Stunning setting. Junior suite had three balconies. A bit distant from attractions on the island, but the locals said the weather was better in that part of the island.

We were there on our honeymoon and it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun and beach. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had. The food was excellent and we enjoyed having the different suggestions of the day besides the normal menu. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was a beautiful and quiet place to just relax and enjoy your stay.

It is a fantastic hotel close to business, I literally walked to some of my clients in Port Louis. Staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful. My only complaint would be that my mattress and pillows were getting close to the time that it should be changed, but saying that, it was not uncomfortable at all.
