"Lovely hotel unfortunately we stayed on the hottest day of the year so the room was very hot. The hotel is lovely and air conditioned but the rooms outside aren't but they did provide a fan. All staff were really nice and friendly and the breakfast was lovely. We would definately return of in the area."

"A lovely pub stay in a beautiful village. The staff work very hard to ensure their guests enjoy their stay and I certainly did! As a solo traveller, I felt safe and not out of place at all. Dinner and breakfast both delicious. Room perfect with thoughtful little touches. The entrance was narrow as others have mentioned but not too awful. Highly recommend! "

"Beautiful cottage with really lovely hosts. They couldn't have been nicer, and so welcoming, and happy for us to come and go as we pleased during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast! Honey yoghurt with granola and fruit, full English or smashed avocado, was beautiful and set us upfor the day ❤️"

"Stayed overnight here for a Comic Con close-by with a friend, we were absolutely gobsmacked by the entire Inn. Room was exquisite and spacious and the bathroom was terrific, staff were lovely and the food was beyond delicious. Considering that it was only £90 for an overnight stay plus £50 for a two-person dinner it's a genuine steal in terms of pricing, might just make another trip to Wales for the sole purpose of staying another night or two, genuinely."

"The room was well equipped including 2 chairs and a small table. There was a fan, iron and a room safe which is rare in the uk. The hotel was great value for money. The pool looked very enticing but we didn’t have time to use it due to outside commitments. I would definitely recommend this hotel"

The spa was particularly good as we've often found that such amenities offered in a hotel package are lacking or incur addiotonal costs: not so here - decent pool, steam and sauna plus a welll stocked gym"

"What a little gem this place is. Chew Magna is stunning and The Queens is a great place to stay. Room was lovely and well decorated. Everything was clean too. Staff were welcoming, chatty, friendly and we wished we were able to eat there but we’d already got dinner plans elsewhere or we’d have happily just settled in for the evening. The locals were lovely too and got chatting to a few of them whilst we had a drink and enjoyed the sunshine. Would definitely recommend and we will head back one...
