Not so pleased to have to pay for parking, but I understand that it is near some sort of conference centre, so I imagine it is due to that. Had to book a slot for the swimming pool in the morning, but when I got there I was the only one in there so that felt a bit pointless; also, when I got there, there was no one at the desk in the health centre to check me in, so I had to find a towel myself and make my own way in."

Menu looked disappointing for the type of food on offer and there is a modern food court within ten mins walk with more choice and better prices. Don’t stay out late though as hotel bar shuts early. The area immediately outside the hotel is not great and the nearest pubs are decidedly sketchy. Caerleon is a ten minute £10 cab ride away for some lovely pubs restaurants and museums."
