"We needed 2 last-minute rooms and we hit the jackpot here! Super clean, well maintained, free parking, and best of all during this heatwave, wonderful air conditioning! Close to Tintern Abbey (25 minutes) and Cardiff (35 mins).
Only thing lacking are washcloths (or "flannels" as they are referred to in the UK), but most hotels don't stock them we are finding. Highly recommend staying here over Cardiff."
"No frills hotel that does the job. Only thing personally, was that the toilet was quite low for someone my height 6'-2". Other than that, it was convenient for our flight from Bristol airport as it situated right next to the M4."

Nice pub for drinks and food (only had a sandwich for lunch on arrival which was very good) drinks choices was great.
Walking distance to town centre for more food and entertainment.
Very close to Seven bridge for the Parkrun.

Nice room, although the electrical outlets were inconveniently placed. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and very close to the Welsh National Roman Legion Museum.
Room was large and beds and pillows very comfortable. We had a nice meal for dinner. Breakfast was included and I had the best scrambled eggs ever. Portions are large and were offered fresh fruit and cereal as well. It was a little cool but in nice weather they have nice outdoor dining and drink area. Very happy with our stay. Friendly staff.
So close but quiet at night to city center castle , river and more and very close to train and bus station. Compact but efficient , would skip the breakfast as a Weatherspoon
is across the street w better value.
Engaged staff even threaded a needle for me to put on a button.
