"My stay at Cactus Lodge was heavenly. My first time traveling alone from the US (New York), I am so glad I booked my stay here. The place hidden in plain sight, opening up the gate to a gorgeous beach vibe. The hotel rooms were very clean, spacious and well air conditioned. Hot water was almost immediate as you turn it on. It was so easy to confirm excursions through the owner/staff and it is very close to all the nightlife. All of the staff were amazing also. So kind, they made me feel so safe....

Beaucoup d’excursions sont au départ de Nungwi beach ce qui était très pratique. L’hôtel est très bien entretenu : les parties communes sont nettoyés 2x par jour, ainsi que les 2 piscines. "Very nice hotel, well maintained and clean. The breakfast choice was quite limited but you could order your choice of eggs. The A La Carte menu was fantastic, Lobster or crab pasta was delicious and a very big portion as well as very reasonable prices. The only downside is the location which is on the main road and not as easy access to the sea by walking. "

Pillows had dried blood and mold stains so needed changing immediately, which was done. Ours was meant to be Delux Garden View, we had a corridor view through front window and a brick wall view through seriously cement stained back window so we didn't open curtains during our time there.
