Spacious private room. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Big hotel, but still with a charm. Beautiful beach with comfortable beachbeds. Beware that the area has a lot of resorts that don’t allow dining unless you are a guest.

Clean ish most of the way round but dated. Got upgraded to a superior - not an upgrade as room needed upgrading. Very poor service at the bars and meals. Menu uninspiring. Not much on site. This Hotel lives on its reputation which it sadly does not live up to. There are much better hotels nearby with just as good beaches which was its one redeeming feature

Eigentlich eine wunderbare Anlage aber Beach übermöbliert. Viele Treppen. Zimmer zum Durchgangsweg abends und Nachts mit viel Palaver. Nachmittags am Strand laute DJ Musik Berieselung. Störend sind auch die vielen Jetskis die vor dem wunderschönen Strand auf und ab rasen. Essen sehr gut.

The rooms were nice. The only downside, no shelves in the bathroom or shower area to lay out your toiletries. The master bedroom didn't have a table to put the suitcases on, always digging out from the floor. Dinner, lunch and breakfast food was good. Beach area was great. You can order drinks or food right from your umbrella. Close to ATM, Minimal and medical facilities.

Quarto de ótimo tamanho com terraço maravilhoso e muito limpo, equipe de funcionários sempre prontos a atender com muita simpatia e educação, wi-fi não muito bom, sinal meio fraco, piscina excelente. Café da manhã bem fraco, sem muitas opções para quem está acostumado a comer bem pela manhã, melhor praia de Zanzibar! Uma coisa que não gostei é não recomendo é usarem o serviço de lavanderia, as roupas não voltaram limpas como deveriam e estavam bem amassadas.

Sehr hübsches und gepflegtes Zimmer, jeden Tag wird sehr sauber und gründlich gereinigt in der ganzen Hotelanlage. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend und vielfältig köstlich. Das gesamte Personal ist überall sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Die Hotelanlage liegt direkt am Strand, prächtig und stilvoll- man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und es bietet eine wohltuende Atmosphäre für einen paradiesischen Urlaub. Ich würde sofort wieder dahin kommen.

During a recent break from a business trip in Dar Es Salaam, I decided to pop over to Zanzibar and spend two nights at the Kendwa Rocks Hotel. The resort is expansive and features an impressive variety of amenities and activities to keep you busy, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a dynamic beach vacation.It is worth noting for incoming guests that the property appears to be undergoing some massive renovations right now. Consequently, it is currently not in its peak aesthetic condition, and there are a few construction-related detours required just to get from one side of the property to the other.Despite the ongoing work and the minor navigation hurdles, the hotel serves as an excellent oasis to disconnect and lose yourself from the outside world for a few days. The disruptions are easily overshadowed by the hospitality. The staff members were each incredible—always friendly, helpful, and eager to ensure a great experience. Their exceptional service truly made a lasting impression. I thoroughly enjoyed my time winding down here, and if my travels ever bring me back to Zanzibar, I will absolutely book another stay at this hotel.
