"Fantastic place. Went for my husband’s birthday, had drinks, dinner, massages & breakfast. All of the food was amazing & staff were really friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfy. Sadly it was raining too much to use the fire pit, but maybe another time! The room had decent sized mugs with a good selection of tea & coffee and a fairly good hairdryer- we had everything we needed. "

The food in the restaurant was superb - excellent choices well presented. The history of the building was so interesting- well done to the owners for creating a beautiful haven in Holt. "Comfortable and cozy living area and very spacious bedrooms, this cottage is an amazing getaway. The large pond at the edge of the garden, with lots of fish was a winner for our two boys aged 8 and 9. We saw a kingfisher and quite a few amazing birds casually dropping by. The welcome biscuits where a definate treat and we will be returning. "
