What a wonderful B&B to stay at, so close to Thursford Christmas Spectacular show, literally a 5 minute walk away. The staff ( who are employed by Thursford) are so charming and very accommodating with every wish and desire. Everything was spotless and every amenity you could ask for in the room (Ivy). The choice of breakfast ( of which there is plenty) is excellent and cooked fresh to order. Would we stay there again? A resounding Yes and thankyou again to all the Staff who made the one night stay so special.

Amazing!!

Amazing accommodation in the Shepherds Hut which we used as our home from home base for the 5 days whilst exploring North Norfolk. All the staff are brilliant and breakfast was a treat every morning to start the day. Just the best base to stay and the 5 star rating is thoroughly deserved. See you next time!!

Whole thing was just excellent. The rooms, very clean, everything thought of, including small torches if you have to get up to the bathroom, in the night. Bathrooms lovely. Staff excellent, remembering things you have asked for the previous day. The whole place was just excellent.

We stayed in Holly Room at Holly Lodge , it was an amazing experience from start to finish !!! The check was so simple even in the dark at a very late hour Our room and facilities within the room were stunning 😍 The service the following morning was 2nd to none and the food , presentation was perfect and so tasty . The gardens were so pretty , wild but very well maintained. Coedy was so lovely as were all the staff ... i loved the open plan kitchen area ! the little snug was stunning id love to sit in there and watch the snow fall outside . Thank you so much for a very breif but stunning stay ... i will be back xx

Amazing

Easy check in with key box. Stunning is the only word to describe this place. I stay away a lot for work and this is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Clean, beautifully presented, comfy bed and fabulous complementary welcome tray. Honesty bar down stairs and great breakfast. Only one thing I did suggest was soft close for doors as some guests allowed them to bang shut and they are heavy doors.

AMAZING!

What a Fantastic place to stay! Every detail thought of and the room was amazing. Clean, quiet and quality furnishings all round so when you add in the gorgeous breakfast, location and beautiful gardens plus the friendly service from the Holly's team it's no wonder it is my favourite B&B that I have stayed in. Cant wait to go back!

Lovely quiet location. The choice & service at breakfast was good. We stayed in Flint which we knew was small but we felt it was too cluttered with furniture. The sockets were difficult to reach when plugging appliances in because of the furniture. The milk provided was sterilised which tasted horrible and so I could not have a cup of tea.The bottle stated when opened place in a fridge- no fridge in room. Long life milk would have been a much better option as in other hotels. On the whole a good stay but with small issues that hopefully will be looked at.

The grounds and general location were beautiful, we checked in via lock box which was simple and efficient. We made use of the free electric charging which was unheard of and brilliant (partially because it worked so many don’t). The room was spacious and I found the bed comfy although my partner thought it was a little lumpy. The bathroom was huge!! Great toiletries, shower pressure was spot on. Having air con when it was 28 degrees was brilliant and made it possible to sleep comfortably alongside the Velux windows. You can use the garden or conservatory, which we did in the evening to sit out and have a drink, also where the made to order breakfast was served. Perfect!

This is a beautiful property with a stunning garden. Breakfast was delicious with so Much choice. Free sunloungers and use of garden. Free bike hire. Lovely range of complementary snacks/drinks in room. Only slight drawback was lack of sockets and very narrow bathroom. Otherwise 10/10 and would definitely stay again in a heartbeat.
