"Pool not working, looks bad and in dire need of a renovation.
Advertising leads you to think there is some sort of thermal pool or something. There is not."
"Excellent service, the staff were so friendly and helpful - special call out to Ivy who checked us in and was always on hand to help us with anything, thanks Ivy !!! Great location right on the lake and stunning views, would highly recommend !"
"Lovely place. room nice and clean wonderful view of lake outside window..excellent pool and thermal soak tubs.easy waling distance to parks, eateries and places to see..highly recommend this location"
"A nice surprise,a last minute trip & this was cheaper. But after a renovation inside this was a comfy night in a family room{6} at a budget price.Whilst we had our own bathroom/shower,kitchen & lounge were shared if required..Would stay here again if the need arises."
"Truly one of my most magical hotel stays ever. My private cottage was beautiful and perfect, the grounds with roaming sheep and donkeys were so lovely and peaceful, the lodge was beautiful and the staff was incredible. The lake view is stunning. Very nice made to order breakfast every morning and great location that was just a few minutes away from most of the attractions I visited. Thank you so much for a perfect visit--I'd love to come back!"

If you like quiet time surrounded by flowers and greenery, hang out at Hell's Gate and Wai Ora Spa in Tikitere. Want to stretch your legs some more? Head to Okere Falls Scenic Reserve, located nearby.
Tikitere is home to Wonderworld Amazement Park, so why not stop by during your stay in Rotorua. If you'd also like to explore some of the parks in Rotorua, Hell's Gate and Wai Ora Spa is nearby.
Our check-in felt a bit awkward—we were told many (many) times how the property and views are “quite stunning” as we were shown around.
Everything else was very nice. Room had a great view, and we really liked the breakfast (and breakfast staff). Parking on the hill was tricky!
We had a wonderful stay at Aura Accommodation. Even though we arrived late in the evening, the warm welcome and friendly hospitality made us feel comfortable right away.
One of the highlights was our beautiful room with a lovely view of Lake Rotorua. Waking up to the peaceful lake scenery each morning made our stay even more memorable.
We also appreciated that our room was serviced while we were out enjoying an early morning activity. It was so nice to return to a clean and tidy room after a...
This place was very positive experience and we would stay again. A pleasure to meet the Hosts, pictures are exactly as they appear. Quiet neighborhood, parking easy, and all amenities that you need. Close to downtown, the geothermal spa, and ice cream parlor! Love Rotorua!
We stayed in the white room with the purple/plum attached bathroom that included a private patio.
This room was like time-traveling into 40s-60s luxury. Beautiful moldings. Gorgeous built-in cabinets and shelving.
The place isn't perfect, but it was impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and if you're a fan of mid-century deco, you'll love staying in this room.
What we most remenber is the unexpected dinner served to us at night , it was very late and the kitchen was closing but we were starving and were offered a fantastic meal by the smiling owner, whose wife happend to be the chef. The rooms are very comforatbale with a nicely equipped kitchenette.
We got a double ensuite room and it was amazing! There were very few rooms around ours and it was really quiet for a hostel. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was nice and big. The kitchen is great and has newer appliances and cookware. I couldn't have asked for a better location in town and it was within walking distance of everything you could ever need. The breakfast place right next door (Lotus Cafe) had an amazing bacon and egg breakfast for only $9.50 NZD and we ate there every morning....
I had booked one room and a week later booked an additional room. The owner saw our bookings under the same name and automatically put us next to each other. That was very appreciated.
There was a spa in the back of each room that was so nice to get into after a long day. Everything was clean and comfortable.
Off beaten path and different in all the positive ways. Great view from the deck and this is where we had an amazing 2 course breakfast with fresh eggs and kind host. If your looking for relaxation and quiet this is the place for you!
Best vacation home ever for large group. We had a group of 10, including three children. House is modern, spacious, and well equipped. The game room was particularly wonderful for the kids. It was well decorated and kept in an immaculate condition. Everything was as advertised. Irene was our contact and she was the most responsive agent I have ever worked with. Always responded right away with helpful information. High recommend.
Heaven on Earth! This little place is incredible, so close to Rotorua and all there is to do there. The lake front view, dining, quiet atmosphere make this place GREAT for a couple's getaway. The room was a little small, but very comfortable and the view of the lake from the bed or the tub can't be beat! My only regret is we didn't stay longer.
