The roof top bar choices were limited but the view makes up for that. Good choices for breakfast and served between 7.30 and 10.30 which is useful. "

"I was skeptical about this hotel when first viewing it online. I had been to India before and burned by photos that do not represent current conditions at the hotel. That was not the case at Majlis. The hotel is not new and shows its age, but it is really good by local standards. The general neighborhood is also safe and vibrant, and includes plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk. The staff was very kind and helpful, and always welcomed me back with a smile. I would definitely stay...

"A dingy hole in the wall. No ventilation in the rooms. It is more of a dormitory than a hotel. Strictly for low budget travellers. "

"The rooms were clean and fairly spacious, and it's located less than 20 minutes' walk from several major Mumbai attractions. In addition the staff were very helpful, arranging for (among other things) us to change to local SIM cards while we were there.
