A beautiful gem! This historic mansion turned boutique hotel is adorable. The original stained glass and carved wood grand staircase are breath taking. Keep in mind this is a 19th Century home, so the floors are creaky and the walls are thin, but there aren't that many rooms so it's not super busy. My only negative comment would be the ability for the room to cool down. It was a little stuffy and in our room the vent really only cooled the sitting area and not where our bed was located. I had a long out of state stay for work and staff made me feel at home. Trish, Jay, Andre, and Cheryl were too kind and genuinely accommodating - you can't can't ask for more.

This is new hotel and it is excellent. The room was extremely clean and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The bed was very soft and comfortable. I usually don't sleep well in a hotel room, but I slept the whole night as if I was home. The whole stay was exceptional!

Everything is really clean, rooms are super nice and nicely laid out with a convenient kitchen area, and the bathroom has a huge shower. Also, lighting in the bathroom area is much better than many hotels, making it much easier to put your makeup on without ending up with the coveted clown-look. ;-)

There is nothing not to like about this Holiday Inn Express. We have stayed there a few times in the past year and have always enjoyed the experience: the staff is friendly and helpful; the room was always clean and ready when we checked in. The Holiday Inn provided as many amenities as larger, more expensive hotels in the Pittsburgh area.

Couldn’t regulate water temp in shower. Thin walls so heard conversation/fight at 4 am in neighboring room.

This is a comfortable hotel with large rooms. The staff was helpful, and check in was smooth. There is not much to walk to in the area, but there is a very nice on site restaurant and bar. I'd stay here again!

I enjoyed my time spent here for the weekend since it has been my second time staying at this same hotel. my dog felt comfortable and the staff was very nice when checking in and out of our room.

The staff was wonderful and the suite was very nice. The only issue was the bathroom looked spotless but smelled a little musty. I would definitely book again.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very attentive. This is not a normal hotel, though. It's a former monastery, and has the charm of a former monastery. All the rooms seem to be one offs due to the fact that it was a former monastery. Don't expect a hotel chain, and you will have a wonderful stay.

Hotel very clean, staff so friendly and helpful! Stayed a week while my wife was in hospital. Bed so comfortable and breakfast was great!
