"The room is simple yet progressive and hip with technology. The lobby and dining area is artsy and representative of Austin and beyond. Most importantly, the staff was extremely hospitable. The staffing model at Citizen M allows for staff to be cross functional and share the tip pool. They appear to work very well together. The location is also perfect if you wish to enjoy Austin’s downtown charm."

"We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and the hotel was great! Comfy beds, hot shower with good pressure, cold mini fridge, and a decent location. We were able to walk around the corner for a few restaurants and bars. Across the interstate were more bars, but not really in walking distance, although we still walked 1.25 miles back to the hotel because… why not. Stay here if you care about cleanliness, a comfy bed, helpful/kind staff and a close enough location to hangout."
