"The Taylor Texan is a great place to stay! I was a little disappointed in the food at the Cantina restaurant and the limited choices at the Marketplace. But, it was still a comfortable, clean and fun place to stay. "

"If I could give them a 0, I would. It’s obvious that they are under new management. This used to be a nice clean reasonably comfortable hotel. The room was clean. But there seemed to be an issue with the AC and the halls and rooms were very humid. Had to ask for creamer for coffee two days in a row. None on coffee bar at any time. The part that gets them a 0 stars is after one night there, we left to go to a better hotel. And, they still tried to charge us for the week’s stay that we had originally booked. Even though, we personally went down to check out, the clerk could not assure us that we would only be charged for the one night. He kept saying he had to ask the manager if it could be refunded. This seemed fishy to us, so we contacted the credit card co to let them know we had left and not to approve any other charges. They tried to run it thru anyway about 4 days later after our initial stay woukd have ended. "

"Perfect location for anyone attending the Midevil Times venue. We walked! Room was clean…nice selection for breakfast. Didn’t get to try the Monkey Bar on the 9th floor, but heard it’s pretty nice. Only complaint was noise from freeway, but that was to be expected given how close we were to it. "

"Staff was very accommodating. The room was spacious. I didn’t use the bar or gym so no comment. "

"The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. They offer a nice breakfast and have a nice bar in the lobby which gives 2 complimentary drinks nightly. That is a great deal. Response to requests or issues were extremly slow. Our room was out of shower gel reported on Saturday evening, called everyday to remind them. It took till Monday afternoon before them brought ip shower gel and another day Tuesday before they actually reinstalled it on the shower wall. But they did response quickly to our room being cold ,maintenance came to work on it within 2hrs and worked on it till it was resolved. Overall I still enjoyed our stay and room. "

"Moxie restaurant is an embarrassment. Breakfast is limited. Staff has to be reminded to restock coffee, bread, etc. Coffee machine in the lobby is locked away after 12 noon. Overall good hotel but some things could’ve been more generous. "
