This property was as advertised. Modest housekeeping units with partial water views. Small kitchen with limited countertop space for food prep. To know before you book:
1. This is one of those odd places in PEI where lobster cooking is not allowed in your unit. You can book an outside cooker if you plan in advance. The place we stayed earlier on our trip had a lobster pot, crackers, and the works in the rooms; here one of the island's key draws is verboten.
2. Bring everything you need to cook with you. Unlike many other properties, there is nothing here to work with in the way of staples. No oils, spices, or anything. Again, other places like this where we have stayed have provided at least some basic cooking oil, a few everyday spices, and the like. Count on starting from scratch here.
3. Bring your own coffee and tea; again, there was little to work with here.
4. Consider bringing earplugs; there is significant sound bleed between the two sides of shared cottages.
This said, the property is well located, clean, pet friendly, and check-in and check-out was a breeze.
