A well maintained Inn. Very picturesque room, lovely grounds and very friendly Innkeeper family. The only issue is it is pretty remote, so if you don't have a car challenging (and costly) to get around.

Our only complaint about our stay here is that it was too short! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the host full of recommendations for the area. This was a convenient and beautiful place to explore PEI from.

The Barachois Inn in North Rustico, PEI was charming and beautifully appointed. The landscaping and outside decor is welcoming too! The innkeeper is a gracious and wonderful hostess/cook, while also being efficient & vibrantly fun! Put this Inn on your PEI list to visit!

Barachoice Inn is a must-stay for anyone who wants to step into the world of Anne of Green Gables. The rooms are beautifully decorated to capture the charm and warmth of the novel, and the breakfast is simply delicious. The host, a lovely woman, went above and beyond to make my stay feel special. If you're looking for a cozy and authentic experience, look no further.

I am so happy we chose Barachois Inn for our recent stay in PEI. My mother is in a wheelchair and there were so few options on the island for her to stay comfortably. Barachois Inn made it possible and Judy and Andrea were wonderful hosts. Their hospitality made this spot the best part of the whole trip. Highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Beautiful Barachois in Rustico
This was the highlight of our five-night stay on PEI. Such fine attention to details from the amenities in the bathroom to the lovely furnishings with every modern touch for comfort. Andrea goes out of her way to be a concierge for guests at this excellent B&B. She recommended two restaurants and both were exceptional.

The grounds surrounding the house are beautiful. Right across from the Banker’s Museum, a great little activity. Restaurant options are nearby. Host was very friendly. We only stayed in the main house and had no opportunity to see the additional guesthouse. Would try to stay there on a return visit. Breakfast was more then adequate.

Lovely stay in an historic building. The Inn keeps the integrity of a beautifully restored historical home while also supporting energy initiatives with solar paneling and EV parking spaces. The hosts care deeply about the history of the building and location and are full of information about PEI. Loved our room with views over the church yard and the bay. Only concern was with the shower head which needed repair (not able to be done while we were there - it was adequate). Breakfast was very welcomed; access to Netflix to watch Anne with an E was a bonus! Very much enjoyed our stay!

We were in Room 1 in the old house. These comments may not apply to other rooms, particularly in the other house built in 2001.
Room 1 left us very ambivalent. On the one hand, every amenity was provided. on the other, it was very dysfunctional as an accommodation.
For example, from the left side of the gigantic antique bed, the view of the TV was obstructed by a large bedpost. The good Keurig coffeemaker was in a cupboard in a piece of furniture, which made it difficult to fill safely without using a phone flashlight. The bathroom was the same size as the bedroom. The bedroom was a good size, but overfilled with antiques. The bed was so high it had stairs. The two comfortable easy chairs were against a wall, and had to be moved if you wanted to visit with a person in each chair. The bathroom was gigantic, including a large jacuzzi and a good shower. There was a double sink counter along one wall. Again, though, that was dysfunctional. The one mirror was hung like a picture (and therefore wobbly), and it was not possible to shave or brush one's hair without moving sideways from the sink and bending down.
The payment arrangements and cancellation date requirements were inconsistent with other PEI accommodations we used. This did not affect us, but is worth checking closely before booking.
The breakfast offered many choices, but hardly exceptional.
We would not stay here again.

Beautiful bed and breakfast with great hosts - upgraded to a suite and loved it. They have been running it for over 40 years and the experience shows in how they treat their guests.
Only drawback is that you have to drive to everything - restaurants, attractions and the beaches. But you always came back to a nice quiet comfortable “home away from home”.
